Be Humble

Matthew 18:4 “Jesus said, "Whoever humbles himself like these children is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’"

James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up.”

We've most likely all heard Christ referred to as, "The greatest servant of all," and that sometimes seems an odd way to refer to the King of Kings. But when God sent Jesus He was truly setting the perfect example for us of putting others before ourselves. The Bible tells us that we are to do all things with love and joy. If we do not fill our actions with love and joy then what’s the point of doing them? We are told to do everything as if we were doing it for Christ, not ourselves or others.

Are you doing things in a loving, joyous manner as though everything you do is for Christ?
