James 1:12 "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."

Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Nobody said that the Christian life was easy. Everyone has their trials and hardships along the way, but God promised the crown of life to those who persevere. If we continue on through the trials, God has promised blessings and we can always count on Him to keep His promises.
