Contentment

CONTENTMENT

Philippians 4:12-13 "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned to secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength."

None of us can be perfect and content in any situation, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try. We should always strive for the highest goal, which is perfection in Christ's eyes. I obviously am no better than you, but I found that when I don't have what I want, I just look around at what God has given me already and find that I'm fine and maybe even better off without the thing I want. Being content is a way better than being hungry for what the world has to offer.
